This set of three hand-thrown vases explores proportion, surface, and color through a unified form—each vessel carries a unique and elegant silhouette while expressing its own distinct voice through glaze.

Tall, refined, and quietly architectural, the forms rise from a narrow base into a soft, flared rim. The repetition creates rhythm. The variation creates interest.

We are conditioned to think that sets must match. This group challenges what we have been taught. While each of these pieces can stand alone, together, they lift each other up.

The Glazes

Each piece carries its own atmosphere:

• A soft grey with subtle tonal movement
• A warm ochre with an earthy, matte presence
• A deep, velvety blue-violet that anchors the set

Together, they create a palette that feels both grounded and elevated—designed to complement each other without competing.

Handcrafted in Terrebonne, Oregon, each piece is wheel-thrown in porcelain, glazed using one matte base glaze with different coloring oxides, and finally fired together, ensuring no other set will be the same.
